| Petya Stoykova is choreographer of Dune Dance Company from Bulgaria. |
| She studied Ballet directing /choreography/ at the New Bulgarian University – Sofia. She also made several international specializations in contemporary dance /Dance Web, Austria 1999, International Summer Dance Academy - Varna, Bulgaria 1995-1997/ and workshops in Buto dance, Physical theatre , Contact improvisation. |
| In 1999 Petya Stoykova was awarded with Choreography award & the Prize of the spectators in National choreography competition “Margaritha Arnaoudova” for “Movie 2000”, pperformed by Arabesque ballet, Sofia. |
| She was also Unesco-Aschberg bursaries programme recipient /year 2001/ for a residency with the Cultural Space Sobo-Bade, Senegal. |
| Since year 2000, Petya Stoykova managing an NGO“Dance BG” that aims to provide development opportunities in front of the Bulgarian contemporary dance. |
