My dance career began when I was 15 years after I left the professional sport.
I had been doing the rhythmic gymnastics since 5 year old. I was in the team of Dnipropetrovsk region and in the reserve Olympic team of Ukraine. Our team used to take a lot of prize-winning places both in Ukrainian and World competitions. I got master of sports degree in 1999 with the rhythmic gymnastics.
Rhythmic gymnastics is not conceivable without the choreography. We used to go to the choreography classes every day. I loved that classes, because they contained strict simplicity of the lines, elegancy of the positions, swiftness of jumps and spins, wealth of plastic shades, poetic inspiration. For sure, all of that helped us with sport.
I was very attracted dance and after finishing my sport career i decided to give myself up dancing. First i went various dance clubs, where I was engaged in such areas of dance, like modern jazz, contemporary, pop dance. Also I took a part in some contests with show-ballets.
Currently I’m teaching children and adults rhythmic gymnastics, dancing and contemporary choreography. Engaged with children of different age groups: from 4 to 15 years. I love my job as an endless stream of creativity and art.
